I got some baobab seeds in the mail today. Five are Adansonia za, five are Adansonia digitata.
I've read various opinions on how to handle baobab seeds. One said soak them for 48 hours; one said 24 hours; one said pour boiling water over them and just wait till it's cool. Hmmm... Oh well. I did one of each, and saved two to try again in the spring if these fail.
The supplier says they might take "three weeks to six months" to germinate.
Well then. This is gonna be one exciting blog, innit?
